This bespoke celebration was inspired by the beauty of Indian culture and filled with endless entertainment, creating a vibrant and fun atmosphere.
The stunning ballroom at Mandarin Oriental, overlooking Hyde Park, was transformed into a magical setting featuring a large welcome area with thrones, bespoke furniture, a personalised tablescape, a life-size Indian palace façade, and plenty of handmade, authentic decorative elements. Fresh flowers, fruits, brass accessories, traditional props, a vintage Ganesha statue and elephant candle holders all helped bring the theme to life.
The activities were organised to keep the children entertained throughout the celebration and included a slime cart, liquid art, T-shirt decorating, watercolour painting, lip balm and charms stations. A henna artist was also on hand to create beautiful designs for all the guests, adding a traditional touch to the experience.
The makeover and hair-braiding stations were fully styled to match the theme, allowing the children to dress up, express their creativity and immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the party.
A fantastic dance performance energised both children and adults, while the dance workshop gave the children the opportunity to learn a few moves and perform during the event.
The Paper Disco included a special surprise, beginning with a shower of silk rose petals that created a magical ending to the celebration and provided the perfect finale to the party.
